PRN Occupational Therapist - Rutherford Co.

|Description:||-Treat adult patients with restoring function, increasing joint motion and improving muscle strength through passive/active exercise within their own home environment. |
|Duties:||-Supervises and participates in evaluation of COTA as assigned.|
-Completes or assigns initial assessment visit for patients admitted for occupational therapy and develops a plan of care within 48 hours.
-Assists physician in establishing/determining appropriate program in occupational therapy for total and continued care of selected handicapped patients and submits documentation of visit within 48 hours.
-Determines if any adaptations of equipment are needed and/or assistive devises and adapt and train in their use.
|Qualifications:||-A graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, and when applicable is licensed or certified by the State.|
