| Description: | Description: Treat adult patients of all diagnosis to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical means such as exercises and modalities as indicated. Supervise LPTA. |
| Duties: | Duties: completes initial evaluation in less than 48 hours from receipt of referral and develops a care plan
Observes, records and reports the patient’s response to treatment and any changes in the patient’s condition
Evaluates the patients progress, determines the need for continuation or discharge and notifies the physician accordingly
Instructs the patient and caregivers in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes and prosthetic and orthotic devices |
| Qualifications: | -Qualifications: A graduate of a program in physical therapy approved by the council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the America Physical Therapy Association.
-Licensed in the state of Tennessee.
-Prior recent home health experience a plus. |
